While I won’t defend “fashion” in any sense, the hosts of the show almost always make a point of saying that everyone can and deserves to like their appearance. It’s about feeling confident, not necessarily sharing their fashion sense.
If you just focus on the clothes, obviously it’ll be shit. But the general attitude is that people need to love themselves enough to think they deserve to be attractive, and that people can be attractive no matter what shape their body is. As much as you may hate what they tell people to wear, you can’t tell me that isn’t a positive message.
